This unit provides detailed charts for the usage, structure and meaning of a variety of grammatical structures - in reverse order, phrasal verbs, relative clauses, voice, and modal verbs. Usage of these somewhat more complex structures are the mark of a comfortable English speaker, and a thorough knowledge of these is something every English teacher must both possess and seek to impart to students whose aim is fluency.
Perhaps this unit could have found space to talk about mood - with an understanding of relative clauses and conditionals, students ought to be able to follow that discussion. Understanding mood allows for more a sophisticated grip on more complex sentence structure, and allows students to be able to write in different styles and tones according to context and preference.
