A lot of this unit seemed like common sense to me, such as the classroom arrangement and eye contact. However, a lot of the topic made me aware of when I learnt a foreign language during high school and remembered how the teachers taught us. Although it was slightly different as it was in an academic situation, being able to relate and have real life exemplars helped me to understand this topic. Additionally it was good to know about how to built rapport and deal with problem behaviour as these were situations I didn’t think of but now that I’m aware of them, I will be prepared if something happens in the future
