This was a great concept unit. It was a great example of how to engage in some of the things we have been learning so far. It was interesting for me, before I watched both lessons completely through, I fast forwarded into both lessons to try to guess which lesson seemed to be the "better way" of going about it. Where I jumped in to the first lesson it appeared that the students we're laughing and having fun and the teacher was very loud and engaging. The second lesson I jumper into a slower part where the teacher seemed to be facing the board a bit more. After watching the lessons entirely through I realized how different my original opinion was. I think this personal exercise taught me/reminded me that classes can be fun and enjoyable but a well structured, encouraging class brings about much more success and enjoyment for the students.
