Unit 13 continues from 12 as an expansion on verbal pronunciation. While students may naturally learn the typical English dialect on their own, it is still neccessary to instruct them on the phonology of English, for the sake of pronunciation. A student's proficiency with the language can be limited by a lack of attention to this aspect of communication, especially since this area is can be easily taken for granted as a speaker becomes more comfortable with speaking English.
