In this unit I learned more about teaching different types of classes, including the various levels of beginners, teaching individual students one-on-one, teaching children, and teaching business English. Each different type requires unique attention to the students and the corresponding lessons. Children may be curious but not necessarily as motivated as adults, who may need to learn English for economic reasons. And when teaching Business English, it is not necessary to know everything about the business; we just have to teach the English around the business, for example vocabulary along with the proper sentence structure. Needs Analysis forms are very helpful to find out what the students need to learn for their unique positions, many of which will overlap.
