This section taught me alot about who I am as a teacher and what exactly is expected of me. Classroom management is not always easy and sometimes it is really difficult to not let your frustrations show but this unit gives useful guides as to allow a classroom to be easily managed. It encouraged me to experiment within my own class and as a result, I now have groups in my class instead of orderly rows and I have found that this has helped with classroom discipline as there is a group leader who is in charge of the group and it is his/ her responsibility to control the noise level of the group when they are given talk time. I have found this extremely helpful as it encourages responsibility from all the learners because they know that if they set a good example, they will be the next group leader and the best behaved group gets a prize at the end of the week (I change group leaders every week so each learner gets a chance).
