From this unit, I learnt about how to introduce new language vocabulary to students who do not speak English as a first language and who are learning it as a foreign language. The unit guides one as to how to prepare a lesson that will be introducing new vocabulary and grammar and the structure and functions of the language. It is a very insightful unit as it teaches one what to keep in mind (as well as what not to focus on) when preparing a lesson and it also gives one ideas for what to use in order to teach as well as reinforce the new knowledge.
