This unit covers how to teach vocabulary, grammar and language functions.
For each of these the unit explains how to choose what to teach depending on different factors such appropriacy, teachability, usage. After selecting what to teach according to level of students we must then choose how to teach it. The units gives examples of types of ESA lessons to teach different aspects of the language. One type of lesson could be for example, learning new vocabulary, teaching food words to students. The unit gives many example of Engage, Study and Activate activities.
I found this unit very useful and noted down many new activities that i could also use, for example if I want to teach new furniture to students I can make them describe their dream house as an activate activity.
