In this unit, I learnt that there are different methodologies for teaching- as a teacher, I already new this but the unit explains the methodologies in such a way that it is much easier to understand. The ESA helps alot as it guides you in how to structure a lesson,it also helps you understand that not all lessons will be the same and that depending on the students response, your lesson might not go exactly how you planned it. The to-pic of correction is an interesting one as, as a teacher, you want to make sure your students get everything correct, but one needs to realise that the students are learning and as a teacher, you do not always step in and correct- the students sometimes need to realise their mistakes on their own.
