From this unit I have learned that a teacher must carefully select the material and course books used for the class. I learned that a course book does not always have what students need and that it is often a good idea to add materials to help learning. For example, the classes became more interesting and relevant in my Korean class when the professor used other material than just the course book and workbook pages. Through the extra material we were able to read about Korean culture and daily life whereas the text book was bland and discussed politics and boring subjects like that.
