Using eye contact, gestures and voice are the best tools which can be used by a teacher in the classroom. Eye contact helps maintain discipline, make sure everyone is involved in the lesson and understand what they are required to do. Gestures can be useful when a teacher wants to draw students' attention, to reduce the need for oral explanations and to reinforce instructions. Voice alterations help a teacher draw attention of his students when giving explanations/instructions, liven up the atmosphere in class and maintain discipline. The way a teacher groups students can influence a pace of a lesson, students' talk time and interaction between them, organization time and general atmosphere of a lesson. Groupings can be divided into whole-class grouping, individual work, pairwork, groupwork. At the lesson a teacher should mind his position in the classroom during different activities or board-work. In the classroom it is better to minimize TTT as far as lessons should be student-centered. In order to do that a teacher can use visual aid, use simple and short explanations, use language that is at or below the level being taught.
