This unit focuses on techniques and lessons plans, as well as proper ways to correct students. There were nine different methods and techniques introduced, such as grammar-translation and task-based learning. These are given and described in order to give the teachers and students as much diversity to their education as possible. Different methods work for different levels as well as different lessons plans. All lesson plans must have engage phases, activate phases, and study phases. The order is dependent on the teacher and their personal opinion towards what would be best. The important difference to make when correcting a student is to know the difference between a mistake and an error. The timing is important as well, but that difference means the world towards the time and manner in which the student is corrected. A mistake can be a slip of the tongue, but an error can be more ingrained.
