I learned how to apply the engage, study and activate sections of the lesson plan to a new situation: The Tom Cruise interview. I also liked the idea of having students write biographies of famous people, and having other students guess who it is. I need to teach students how to read for entertainment as well as for a purpose. So I need to include instructions and news presentations/articles in my lesson plans.
