In brief, this unit has given integral tips on how one can use their eyes, voice and simple gestures as part of classroom management(conveying messages whilst reducing Teacher Talk Time). It has also shown the effect and different ways of organizing the students within the classroom (layout) based on lesson plan/ activity in order to ensure the overall success of the lesson and to increase Student Talk Time. In addition, it provided vital tips on board writing skills, conveying instructions effectively, establishing rapport within the class and classroom discipline. Personally, the latter information gives the layman an integral foundation into dealing with students in the classroom professionally and in a manner that their respect can be easily gained.
