I think this s a very important section of English grammar. I have taken a number of foreign language courses and no matter the language, I think that past forms are difficult. I think that this section could have explained more about how to teach it with better examples and practice ideas for an actual class. The tasks provided some ideas, but the complexity of this aspect of English grammar is one that needs more than what was provided in this unit. I learned more about how to explain the specific usages for each section of grammar, but found that the wording on the unit test was very different at times than what I had listed in my notes from the chapter. I think that this unit could use some more work in explaining the usages and helping to provide materials for teachers on the best ways to teach the material, whether that be worksheets, more activities, etc.
