Unit 15 - Evaluation and testing. This unit focusses on different ways of evaluating students' levels and progress, as well as some of the common external exams that teachers may need to prepare their students for. Students' language level can be assessed in the following ways: by tutorials, by evaluation by the students, by tests. The unit presents the types of tests to be given to students at different stages in a course, such as placement tests (at the beginning), diagnostic tests, progress tests, achievement tests, and other tests that are external, offered by different organizations. I have learnt in this unit how to structure the future tests that I will give to my students, what type of tests and when (during the course of study) to give them.
