Unit 17 - Equipment and teaching aids. The unit presents a wide variety of teaching aids that can be used in the classroom in order to improve teaching and make lessons more interesting, effective and less dependent on the textbook. Each teaching aid is described in great detail. The resources presented as teaching aids start with the simple board, white or black board, then continue with the interactive whiteboard (IWB), and continue with more sophisticated ones, such as CD players, DVDs, video cameras, computers and online resources. The unit presents a lot of teaching resources for teachers of English. On the learning part, the unit presents many links for online lessons, exercises, and learning materials for students of English. I feel that this lesson gave me a new and better perspective on how to better use some of the teaching aids presented. I am grateful for the wide variety of resources that I can access now and which I found in this unit.
