The contents of this unit included information about lesson materials, course books, and the other materials teachers can use in the classroom. Most schools have limited resources and therefore teachers sometimes need to be creative or supplement the provided materials. Based on the students level of understanding, a teacher can choose how much to follow a course book, while including authentic and created materials to the class. While there are many benefits to following the books, there are also disadvantages. Thats where the teachers judgement and creativity come in to assist their students with other sources such as cassettes, pictures, gap fills, role-playing, word searches, and cross word puzzles.
