This section has deepened my understanding of lesson planning. From this unit I am now able to see the logic in starting out getting the students engaged then moving into more teaching aspects of the lesson plan. For example, you can get the students engaged by showing picture and asking the students about their experiences with the topic. I can then move into teaching students some of the English technicalities of the topic such as vocabulary and correct pronunciation. Finally, I can allow the student to explore the topic for themselves and do the best that they can in using the information to achieve a successful result.
