In this unit I learned what an effective lesson does for students vs. a noneffective lesson. It was interesting to me to see the way the students reacted during a noneffective lesson. They all seemed confused and couldn't follow instructions because the lesson was so confusing. This made it hard for them to understand what the lesson was about. The lesson was also vary unorganized, and the teacher was unprepared. And it didn't help that the teacher seemed so unconcerned for his students, so he wasn't giving them enough help.
The second lesson which was more effective, had all the students participating and paying attention. It was clearly visible that they could understand the lesson better too. The teacher was readily available for help, and you could see in his attitude that he cared for his students' learning. The class was also much more organized and easy to follow.
