This unit was very helpful to see first hand what a classroom could look like, while also giving helpful tips about conducing a classroom. It is important to engage students and be sure that everyone understands the directions and the lecture. The teacher in the video was very good at being upbeat and positive, which in turn prompted the students to participate more. It is also important to use clear instructions so that the students aren't confused. Being able to watch two lessons helped immensely because we saw how to conduct an effective lesson plan.
