This lesson covered topic concerning classroom management including eye contact, gesture, voice, grouping students, arrangement of students, establishing a rapport, and maintaining discipline. I liked the ideas of limiting the time with your back to the students while writing on the board because it is important to keep an eye on the students always. I thought the ideas about eye contact may be culture-specific. It is also interesting how the teacher's overall behavior such as punctuality can affect the discipline in the class as a whole.
