In this unit, the content focuses on the various evaluation and testing of the students. There are many ways to gauge the language levels in students such as individual and class tutoring, testing, and evaluations from the students themselves. By using placement and diagnostic tests, students are placed into the appropriate learning level where they can learn the best. Combined with the use of practice and progress tests students are able to assess themselves while allowing the teacher to focus on certain elements of English if needed. All of this can lead to students to external examinations from other schools and countries. Teachers should use all of the information covered in this course to prepare them as much as possible for testing and using their newly acquired language skills.
