Unit 4 goes over the different tenses in the English language. Before this lesson, I was only familiar with the past, present, and future tense. After reviewing this lesson, I realize that there are more than three tenses, and there are 12 in total. Each tense can vary depending on other characteristics which include simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. The unit again provides us with many examples. The example sentences show the various tenses in negative, positive and question form. And it gives us examples of ways the student can mistake the phrases and tenses.
