In this unit, we covered the last grammar point of this course. We discussed phrasal verbs and the three types that exist: intransitive, transitive separable and transitive inseparable. I learned that type three is often difficult to teach and would be best taught as vocabulary terms. We also learned about relative clauses and the difference between defining and non-defining clauses. Additionally, we covered the past voice and how to form it from the different verb tenses. Finally, we learned about modal auxiliary verbs, how common they are and how and when to appropriately use them.
