The equipment that teachers decide to use for their lesson is important to how successful their lesson will be. Using electronic equipment such as DVD's, CD's, computers, and interactive boards are good for holding students attention but need to be tested and prepared for before the beginning of a class. They give students the chance to work on pronunciation and listening skills. It may also give them a chance to hear other people speaking English and gives a better understanding. White board, overhead projectors, visual aids, and worksheets and work cards may not hold students attention as much but are very useful and have fewer drawbacks. They allow students to review and understand grammar and vocabulary points.
