I saw a vast difference in the videos: Video 1 had me feeling concerned that the teacher did not show respect to the students, making them feel humiliated and in return they did not respect the teacher. There were no visual aids and the teacher failed to engage the students in the content. The point of the tasks were lost, leaving students confused and not speaking very much. The positive energy and encouragement in Video 2 was very inviting. I saw the teacher let the students speak a lot and he was much more organized. He had his first engage words/phrases already written on the board, and that gave him a chance to make eye contact and hold the teacher's attention. He was able to involve everyone equally and that added to the general good feeling and learning of the students.
