In this unit we learned how important is the evaluation of the students in the different phases of their learning process. How important is the placement test, so teachers and school will place this new student in the appropriate level class, the diagnostic test will tell teacher in the beginning of the course how much the students know and how certain they are about the language structures they already know, and what exactly from the previous courses and English levels classes they missed to learn, and need some refreshment or reinforcement. The progress test will tell teacher and students how the course and learning process is going, what the students attained and what they should review. Meanwhile the practice test will prepare the students to the external test they are being studying for, also will give them as the name of the test says, practice on the kind of test they will take in the near future.
