In this lesson, I learned that being a good teacher is not purely on your knowledge, but also on your attitude and willingness to adjust to your students. Understanding that students have different learning levels and needs in the classroom helps focus lessons to create a fun and positive learning environment for any age. The ultimate goal for a teacher in the classroom should be to motivate their students to be good learners; not to expect them to be good learners. If the teacher is motivated, themselves, by their love of teaching, kind and patient attitude, understanding of their subject matter, and creating entertaining lessons, good rapport and motivation from the students is sure to follow. Understanding these principles are what make someone a good teacher.
