From this unit I learned more about the two productive skills that are highlighted when students are learning a language. Prior to this unit, I was unaware of the distinct differences between accuracy and fluency,. I had understood that they had different motives, but I was not completely sure when the appropriate time to execute one rather than the other in a lesson was. After this unit, and being exposed to some example ESA lessons, I now have a better understanding for when the right time to focus on accuracy is, as well as fluency.
