I think that this unit is essential for anyone who plans to teach English, it provides a lot of different teaching methods and techniques which I found to be very helpful. The unit focuses mostly on the ESA method which stands for Engage, Study, and Activate. We see examples of how these stages can be ordered or presented to create different lessons like the straight arrow, boomerang, and patchwork pattern. This unit also addresses an important matter which is how to go about correcting students mistakes and errors. I thought it was good to highlight the difference between the two.
