Unit 20 discusses various problems that are likely to arise in the classroom, but provides helpful ways on how to work through and even prevent them from occurring. For example, they discuss that students in a class may finish an activity at different times and this may be seemingly difficult to navigate. However the unit provides the idea to either provide several activities during one task (such as including a word search the quicker students can work on when finished). Additionally, the unit talks about how establishing rapport with the students is the top priority during the first class. I believe the first class may involve some nervousness on behalf of the teacher, but if we too think of it as a way to learn about our students and begin to develop relationships, perhaps some of the nervousness will fade away!
