This unit was very beneficial for understanding the importance of using particular aspects of the English language in choosing what lessons to teach. For example, when teaching vocabulary, it is important to choose words based upon what students should know about certain words and how well they will be able to relate to those words. This unit also went more in depth into the specific tasks used in the Engage, Study, and Activate stages the teaching process.
