This was a helpful unit for me for a number of reasons. I have had multiple years of experience in coaching kids and adults both individually and as teams, so it was nice to confirm that some of the common techniques and approaches I used with them translate over well into the teaching environment. I have also taught a business English class before, only to a native English speaking audience, and it was useful to compare my syllabus and experience with that class to the approaches provided for a ESL class. I think that after this lesson I feel very comfortable with the idea of teaching a business English class and am looking forward to taking my Business English Teaching Certificate after completing my 120 hour TEFL course.
