This unit teaches effective lesson planing and how its beneficial for the teacher as well as for the students. It's important to be organized but not to the point where lesson become too structured and rigid. This can be damaging to a lesson because it doesn't allow for the teacher to improvise if things don't turn out as planed. Lesson planing should be simple and the main objective should be to help the students fully understand and correctly use what they've been taught. Another objective is to further enhance the teachers ability to teach effectively.
