This lesson showed two contrasting lesson by a teacher, one negative and one positive. In the first lesson, the teacher made many clear mistakes, including not introducing his lesson and activities, not becoming acquainted with the students, often telling the students that they are wrong, not coming prepared, not monitoring the students well, becoming easily frustrated and seemingly ending the lesson early. In the second lesson, he learns the students' names, encourages all students to participate, uses visual aids and miming effectively, explains and structures his lessons well and gently corrects students when appropriate. This contrast was helpful to see how much a teacher can affect the lesson with the same students.
