The way we teach vocabulary is very important because the students will either remember them or not in fact, ESA is a good technique to do it. Firstly we engage the students to explain the meaning of the vocabulary and we can do this through mimes, pictures or discussion, secondly we move to the next stage which is study and we can do this by gap fill exercise, crossword ormatching exercises. Thirdly we move to the activate phase where we can practice the vocabulary in a role play, discussion or simulation.
