This first unit provided me with information on what the exact role of a language instructor is. Through this unit I have been made aware of the many roles a language teacher must take on such as manager, prompter, facilitator, and model. This unit also gave me a brief overview of the categories of students and what to expect of language students at different age levels and language levels. I found it very important to learn about what to expect from students at different language levels that range from basic to advanced or if we are talking about the Common European framework Breakthrough A1- Mastery C2.
