This lesson taught and discussed pronunciation. Although simple to native English speakers the intonation and implications depending on the tone may be hard for non native English speakers to understand. Personally, I found the phonetic script translation portion of the quiz to be the hardest. I don’t think a non native English speaker would find much purpose in learning that. However, teaching the different ways sounds are made by the mouth through a linguistic perspective may be useful to students in learning how to pronounce words more accurately.
