this unit talks on the basic skills in any language which are reading and listening(receptive skills), speaking and writing(productive skills). In this unit we learnt about the receptive skills. I was able to learn how to use the receptive skills to boost the students confidence such as choosening materials that interests the student,building interest before reading/listening,varying the type of material,etc. I also learnt how to use the ESA method in making the receptive skills more effective to the students.
