During this unit I was able to review the rules on proper grammar. I believe that grammar is important to review regularly. I believe this because even as a native English speaker, sometimes grammar is difficult. Teaching grammar can be even more difficult. You need to be able to teach the grammar in ways that students will understand. If the student does not understand why a noun is a person, place, or thing, they will not fully grasp the understanding of personal nouns, proper nouns, etc. I believe that as a teacher who will be teaching foreign languages, it is very important to understand grammar so we can better teach it to our students. If their teacher does not understand the grammar, they could feel like they are wasting their time paying for classes, or make them feel as if it is too difficult. Sometimes it could result in discouragement and the loss of a potentially great student.
