This unit dealt a lot with classroom theories of teaching. Ways we should teach the class to keep the students active, involved, and still learning. I believe that this is very important when teaching students of all ages. I believe that for teaching young children, you should always have new words, review and drill the words, but also have fun activities for them to participate in. This helps keep them engaged and should lead to better classroom behavior. It is important to have all three types levels of ESA. They all involve different study habits to help the students better learn. For example, pronunciation is very important when teaching ESL students. Some of our letters are pronounced differently. Worksheets are a great way to measure whether or not the students are grasping the information or not. Lastly, role-play activities let the students express that they fully understand the activity. By being able to understand the role-play the students show that they understood the lessons. Its a way to ensure efficiency. This unit was a little difficult but had many great ideas and methods.
