Overview
-The unit comprises an introduction to grammar and defines the different parts of speech. It categorises and teaches what nouns,verbs,adjectives, adverbs, pronouns,gerunds,conjunctions,articles,prepositions and conjunctions are,and how they can be used to form and construct sentences.It has refreshed my mind and brought back to my memory the different classification of words and their definitions.
What i have learnt from Unit 2
-It has shown me, that whilst i may have command over the english language, it will be a different challenge altogether to teach grammar.It has given me insight into how challenging it could be to teach English to a foreign person, whether child or adult , and stirred up more desire in me, to want to learn different cultures and impart knowledge of the english language to diverse cultures.
