Evaluation and testing are two necessary evils for all students in English language schools, and yet they are the fulcrum to ESL or EFL teaching as well as a requirement for almost all language schools. Students' evaluation (surveys) provides good feedback to teachers and school management and provide them with the opportunity to improve or modify the course contents. This unit outlines the different methods used for testing students and clearly discussed the purpose and reason for each.
