This unit established a teachers responsibilities within a classroom and, as the teacher, the different roles one can take in specific classroom situations, as well as examples of a bad teacher. The unit also teaches how to attain and maintain good rapport with students, how to encourage and motivate students and how to discern an attentive and student from an unmotivated student that needs encouragement. In addition, gauging a students knowledge of the language, which level they can be categorized in, and which framework they fit into.
