Even though a teacher encounters some new situations every time he/she walks into the classroom, there are some common problem situations that most of the teachers have to deal with sooner or later in their teaching career. Most common is the situation when a teacher has first lessons with a new group of students. Those first lessons should be used to establish rapport with the students and to learn more about them.
