This unit covered classroom equipment and teaching aids. It provided an extensive list of equipment, and an even longer list of resources in the forms of dictionaries, books, and online sources to pull from as a new ESL teacher. The unit helped me think through what resources I might prefer or feel more confident using, like OHP's because they were popular most of my 'learning' lifetime. Contrastingly, it also helped me to be aware of how unfamiliar I am with using some equipment (IWBs) and potential areas for growth in order to be an effective teacher and make the most of equipment that would potentially be available to me in future classrooms.
