This unit explores the teacher-learner relationship. It details what characteristics are expected of a good teacher and the role they assume in different scenarios. It touches upon the general qualities of a student, talks about their motivations, behavior and how culture and events in life can influence their learning experience. It also exposes us to various language skills and categorizes them under language levels based on a general framework.
Both teacher and learner determine the classroom experience, however, the onus lies with the teacher to keep the learner motivated by making the topics interesting, participative and lively.
