In this unit, I watched two video lessons; one lesson was taught effectively while the other one was not taught effectively. I learned a lot from the two. I learned that in order for the classroom to be productive I need to have a positive attitude.
Getting to know the student’s name helps build rapport, it makes the students feel comfortable. Speaking clearly and using simple words helps the students understand better. I saw how the ESA method helped the students understand the material, but of course, it is up to the teacher to teach the lesson clearly.
From observation, I noticed that the teacher being a foreigner was following the custom of the land when he was not wearing any shoes, as the students were not either.
