This unit talks about classroom management. It points out some of the things a teacher can follow in order to manage the class well, to attract students' attention and to maintain discipline in the class. It goes ahead to give tips on how a teacher can decrease his/her talking time and consequently, letting the students to talk more.
This unit is very helpful to me because it has taught me classroom management rules such as eye contact,gestures and voice usage. I have also learnt to encourage student-student interaction through pair work, group work and many others. This students interaction activities will help stronger students to teach weaker students and encourage a quick assimilation of the language.
This unit is very useful not only to English teachers, but to all teachers in general.
